J. Randall Schneider, MAI, AI-GRS, CCIM, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 and currently serves as an Executive Vice President in the firm’s Phoenix office. Schneider specializes in U.S. Department of Housing – Multi-family Accelerated Processing (MAP) with extensive experience in 221(d), 223(f), 231 and other HUD mortgage insurance programs. In addition to MAP appraisal assignments, he also performs market studies for the MAP program.
Throughout his career, Schneider has appraised a wide variety of commercial property types including multifamily, office, retail, industrial, land, hospitality, student housing, winery, railroad, right-of-way, partial interest, going concern, residential subdivision and various special use properties. In addition to traditional appraisal assignments, he has performed market and feasibility studies as well as third-party appraisal reviews for all commercial property types across the country.
Schneider joined Newmark from Colliers International, where he spent over five years and most recently served as a senior valuation services director in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to Colliers, Schneider worked at Schneider & Associates, Inc., where he first started his career in 1992 as an associate before being promoted to partner.

Schneider earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
