James Rainer serves as a director in the Memphis office of Newmark, where he leads in the pursuit of new tenants, conducts property tours for prospective tenants, negotiates lease transactions and sales contracts and markets properties to local decision makers.
Mr. Rainer joined Newmark in 2016, when the firm acquired locally owned affiliate Newmark Grubb Memphis, formerly Grubb & Ellis Memphis. Mr. Rainer had joined Grubb & Ellis in 2011, and for the next two years formed a team there with his father, Jim. Mr. Rainer began his commercial real estate career in 2010 at Memphis-based Coleman-Etter, Fontaine Realtors.
