Jamie L. McCormick currently serves as a Senior Appraiser in Michigan for Newmark Valuation & Advisory, and is also part of the Vineyards, Wineries & Cannabis related real estate specialty practice.
Throughout her career, McCormick has participated in a wide range of assignments from proposed luxury residential projects in Hawaii, vineyard estates in Northern California, to proposed and operational cannabis-related properties. She has worked with nearly every property type including multifamily residential apartments and condominiums, oceanfront and luxury residential, single- and multi-tenant retail, shopping centers, vineyards and wineries, resorts, industrial, office, agricultural, special purpose, and complex mixed-use properties. Her specialties include cannabis-related real estate, vineyards & wineries, multifamily, luxury residential and retail properties, as well as other income-producing property types.
McCormick joined Newmark after serving as a trainee appraiser for two years with Cushman and Wakefield, in their Downtown Los Angeles and Honolulu offices. In this capacity, McCormick was responsible for developing market analyses, performing detailed analysis on a variety of property types, as well as providing assistance in all areas of the valuation practice.
Prior to starting her appraisal career, McCormick worked as an accounting coordinator for the Golf and Retail departments at Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii.
