Jason Pruger joined Newmark in 2001 at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters, where he focuses on landlord and tenant representation on both a national and local level. Since joining the firm, Pruger has completed hundreds of transactions with a combined value in excess of $1 billion. Prior to Newmark, Pruger was a Managing Director at Winick Realty Group.
Pruger is known for his implementation and execution of roll-out strategies and for his disposition on a local and national level. He has earned a reputation for completing transactions on behalf of Aerosoles, Ainsworth, Arby’s, AT&T, Bo Concept, Calligaris, Chase Manhattan Bank, Cole Haan, Crunch, CVS, Design Within Reach, Ecco Shoes, Escapology, Fred Perry, Johnny Was, Lunya, New Balance, NYSC, Shade Store, Spin, Swatch (including Blancpain, Breguet, Harry Winston, Omega and Tissot), Sugarfina, Under Armour and Wendy’s International.

As a highly experienced owner representative, Pruger has met the leasing needs of many prominent property owners, including Citigroup, Cohen Brothers, Friedland Properties, GFI Group, The Goldman Estate, Goldman Sachs, Harlington Realty, Mitsui Fudosan, Samson Realty, Saperstein & Associates, SL Green, Solil Management, Tishman Speyer, Vornado and Young Woo & Associates.
Professional Achievements
In recognition of his accomplishments, Pruger received Newmark’s Retail Broker of the Year award in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Professional Affiliations
Active in the real estate community, Pruger s a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY); he was also voted onto the latter organization’s commercial brokerage retail committee.

Pruger earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
