As Managing Director, Jason Wecker specializes in both landlord and tenant representation. Based in New York, Wecker has worked on behalf of several prominent landlords, including HUBB NYC Properties, Rosemark Management, SL Green Realty, Stonehenge Partners and TA Realty. His most notable transactions include the leasing of 60,000 square feet at 650 Fifth Avenue to Nike, for its global flagship; the leasing of more than 30,000 square feet at 560 Broadway to Aritzia; and the leasing of 8,000 square feet to Line Friends at 1515 Broadway, for its U.S. flagship location.
Wecker is currently representing Uniqlo, Aritzia and Lovesac and helping to devise their New York City rollouts while also assisting Sushi of Gari with its national expansion.
Wecker joined Newmark in 2019, when parent company Newmark Group, Inc. acquired RKF, a New York-based retail real estate brokerage and investment firm. He began his career with RKF in 2015 as a Canvasser and was quickly promoted to Associate.
Prior to RKF, Wecker worked as a Canvasser at Winick Realty Group, where he helped to support the New York brokerage team. Previously, he was an Analyst at Edge Wealth Management, a boutique wealth management firm catering to high-net-worth individuals.
Affiliations
Wecker is a licensed salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is also actively involved with Friends of Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) and on the board of Steve’s Camp, a camp dedicated to empowering urban youth.
Education
Wecker earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Miami.
