Jeffrey Taylor serves as an Executive Vice President for Newmark Valuation & Advisory in the firms Irvine, California, office. He is an expert in the Southern California real estate market, with over 30 years of appraisal, valuation,
and consulting experience. In addition to appraisal reports, his services also include market feasibility studies, tax appeal, estate valuation and expert witness litigation support.
Taylor specializes in multifamily residential properties, both existing and proposed, which include market rate, low-income (HAP, LIHTC, etc.), age-restricted, student and manufactured housing as well as multifamily land assignments. He
also has experience with ground-leased apartments, rent-controlled projects and mixed-use apartment/commercial properties, ranging from duplexes to over 4,800 units. Clients have included commercial banks, developers, corporations,
individual property owners, public agencies, insurance companies and legal firms.
Prior to joining Newmark, Taylor served as an Executive Vice President for CBRE, where he was the Southern California Multihousing Market Leader, receiving the highest scores in Nationwide within CBRE from Freddie Mac for quality. In
addition to standard formats Taylor and his team complete assignments that include specific formats such as agency (Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae), small balance loans (SBL), capitalization rate studies, HUD 223(f), HUD, 221(d)4, etc. Taylor
specializes in Southern California markets that include the following Counties: Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Santa Barbara, Imperial and Ventura. He has also completed various multifamily assignments
for many of the larger assets on the Island of Oahu and Maui, Hawaii.
