Jen Smith joined Newmark in 2022 and currently serves as Vice President in the company’s New York headquarters. Smith has over two decades of experience serving in various capacities in administration, having most recently worked within corporate real estate operations in brokerage, capital markets and project management.
Smith came to Newmark after working at JLL for seven years in their New York corporate office. Smith started as an Executive Assistant in brokerage before transitioning to the operations side of the business. Responsibilities included partnering with the finance team on profit and loss, budgets, margin and pipeline processes. Other aspects included finance trainings, expense report process/approvals, AP and AR tracking and GCC management.
Smith has significant experience working with top brokers on cross-selling and administrative support, as well pitch support and working with marketing on RFPs and submittals. She also has been heavily involved in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding along with continued staff training.
