Jim Badolato joined Newmark in January 2020 as an Executive Managing Director in the firm’s Philadelphia office, where he is responsible for leading debt origination and structured finance for multifamily and commercial assets. Institutionally focused, Badolato works with both regional and national clients and has experience across the capital spectrum.
Badolato and his Philadelphia-based Capital Markets group pride themselves on their long-term relationships, offering clients expertise across a diverse capital base that includes life companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, regional and national banks, CMBS and fund investors. The group attributes its success to its dedicated work ethic, transparency and customer service, driven by the mindset that trust is earned and re-earned every day.
Prior to joining Newmark, Badolato spent the first 17 years of his career at Berkadia, where he grew from an Analyst to a top-tier Loan Officer, originating more than $6 billion in financing. His experience involved various large landmark multifamily portfolios and placement with more than 25 different lenders.
Residing outside his hometown of Philadelphia with his wife, Pamela, and their four children, Jim and his family enjoy sports and travel.
Education
Badolato graduated from Drexel University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a major in finance.
