Jim Rainer, SIOR, LAI, serves as a senior managing director in the Memphis office of Newmark. In this capacity, Mr. Rainer leads in the pursuit of new clients; prepares and implements strategic plans for multi-property portfolios; negotiates lease and sale transactions; and markets the properties to decision-makers. A commercial real estate practitioner with more than 30 years of experience in the Memphis market, Mr. Rainer has also assisted clients in most major metropolitan markets across the nation and in more than 15 states.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Rainer was with Rainer and Company, a family real estate firm, where he built his practice in the recreational and investment land segment of the business. In 2008, before joining Rainer and Company, he co-founded Commercial Advisors LLC, a multi-specialty commercial real estate firm. Mr. Rainer began his commercial real estate career in 1985 at Cushman & Wakefield.
