Jimmy Hinton serves as Newmark’s Chief Revenue Officer of U.S. Capital Markets. In his role, Hinton oversees Newmark’s client-facing initiatives and innovative productivity tools to guide the strategic direction and growth of the Company’s capital markets business. Working alongside North America President of Capital Markets Chad Lavender, Hinton coordinates with executive leadership across all business lines to cross-sell the Company’s Capital Markets business to its Landlord Leasing business, as well as Property Management, Valuation and Advisory, Asset Management and Loan Servicing.
Hinton brings 20 years of industry experience, serving as both a principal investor and capital markets executive, with senior leadership roles at Transwestern Interests, HFF and Cadence Bank. His professional transaction and investment credentials include investment sales, public-to-private transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and preferred equity, mezzanine, acquisition and refinance debt placement, fundraising and international capital advisory across five continents.
Education
Hinton graduated from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. He resides in Houston, Texas.
