John Fancher serves as a Senior Managing Director at Newmark. With an impressive track record, Fancher focuses on expanding Newmark’s landlord representation business across the vibrant Dallas-Fort Worth area. Beyond the local region, Fancher actively collaborates with the firm’s diverse service lines and offices throughout Texas, leveraging his strategic approach to enhance integrated offerings for clients. Fancher possesses over 20 years of cumulative expertise and an expansive leasing portfolio of over 14 million square feet.
Fancher’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of responsibilities including acquisition assessment, capital investment advisory and spearheading repositioning and rebranding initiatives. Known for his aggressive leasing strategies, Fancher has successfully led projects to stabilization while advising on hold and exit strategies, focusing primarily in the Las Colinas and North Dallas submarkets over the past two decades.
Prior to joining Newmark, Fancher was a Senior Managing Director in the Investor Services group at Cushman & Wakefield. In this role, he specialized in leasing advisory services tailored to commercial office property owners. Previously, he held a position at CBRE working on the company’s Global Investors portfolio, where his innovative leasing initiatives played a critical role in repositioning, stabilizing and selling nine high-profile Class A office properties throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Fancher’s relentless work ethic and collaborative approach have directly contributed to securing over 12 million square feet, generating upwards of $1.5 billion in new revenue for his clients, and consistently averaging 60 leasing transactions annually.
