Karen Mitchell serves as Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing global Human Resources strategy and operations, talent management (including recruitment and leadership development) and compensation and benefits. In her role, Mitchell focuses on aligning the workforce with the Company’s growth.
With over three decades of experience, Mitchell brings a wealth of knowledge having lead Human Capital strategy and HR processes at top-tier global firms. Her expertise includes Employment Law, Employee Relations and providing guidance to employers and employees on these and related matters. Most recently, Mitchell served as Global Head of Human Resources for the Corporate Functions of Credit Suisse, where she led a team covering over 13,000 employees in 35+ countries. She led the bank’s The Way We Work interdisciplinary strategic program to transform the approach to hybrid working in the post-pandemic work environment and served on numerous committees, including the Group Conduct Board and its U.S. Benefits Committee. Prior, Mitchell practiced employment law at Epstein Becker & Green, serving financial services, banking and commercial clients.

Mitchell received a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and earned her law degree from Fordham Law School.
