Katie Ruf is a Managing Director Workplace Strategy & The Human Experience with Newmark’s Global Corporate Services consulting practice. Miss Ruf has 13 years of experience specializing in performing comprehensive workplace strategy and space occupancy analysis, research, design, relocation management and project management. Due to her expertise and background, Miss Ruf has successfully develop analyses for space occupancy nationwide, and prepared workplace planning documents, as well as overseen construction build outs from the planning phase to the final completion, overseen furniture installation, managed relocation implementation planning nationwide, and developed space plans for many clients. She has advised and provided workplace strategy services to Estée Lauder, Reed Elsevier, Girl Scouts, and Home Depot which included occupancy planning and relocation management.
During her tenure with Newmark, Miss Ruf has executed projects for multi-national clients, across a wide span of industries including corporate, research and development, legal, and technology based companies. Miss Ruf has expertise in working with clients to understand their daily operations, developing an implementable project plan, create project deliverables and maintain project budgets while ensuring that these project deliverables and budgets support business and company objectives.
Before joining the Newmark team, Miss Ruf served as an intern at Wakefield Beasley and Associates and Loia Buddy and Associates while attending school. During her time as an intern, she was responsible for the organization of the material samples library, in house move coordination, finish board development, drawing corrections, and site verifications.

Miss Ruf holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a concentration in Interior Design, from Georgia Southern University.
