As Senior Vice President for Global Client Accounting, Kelli Fly is responsible for the oversight of timely and efficient financial reporting for clients of Newmark. Kelli is responsible for all aspects of the client accounting function, including the implementation of accounting policies and procedures, the review of monthly financial reports prior to release to clients, and directing the hiring and training of personnel.
Kelli oversees and coordinates all property management and corporate facility management accounting activities. These include accounts payable, accounts receivable and all related tasks involved in the preparation of financial statements. She is also responsible for developing and enforcing Newmark’s comprehensive system of internal controls, and for the company’s annual SSAE 18 SOC 1 Type II audit.
Prior to joining Newmark, Kelli was the Senior Director at Newell Brands where she was responsible for global location strategy of Global Business Services, including reducing global footprint, determining ideal locations for share services centers and regional centers of excellence, and transitioning accounting teams to new centers. Before Newell Brands, Kelli was the Senior Managing Director for the Americas Business Services Organization at CBRE where she was responsible for providing property to fund level accounting, reporting and administration services to real estate owners and institutional investment managers, as well as providing accounting services to CBRE’s global occupier clients.
Education
Kelli earned her Master’s in business administration, accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from University of Memphis.
