Kristina Dedekian joined Newmark in 2004 at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters. Dedekian works in conjunction with Jeffrey Roseman and his retail team. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing the entire portfolio of retail properties, as well as a large roster of tenants. This includes developing the full-scale marketing campaign for each new property, assisting in site selection and negotiations for exclusive retail tenants, overseeing the day-to-day tasks, generating comprehensive leasing updates and facilitating lease negotiations for each asset. She is also experienced in business development and securing publicity via creative marketing to both the trade and prospective clients.
Dedekian has played an integral role in various notable landlord representation transactions, including the leasing campaigns for 625 Madison Avenue, 317 Madison Avenue, 1515 Broadway, 125 Park Avenue, 1501 Broadway, 600 Madison Avenue and 745 Seventh Avenue.
On the tenant side, she has been involved in the complete site review for Chase Bank, and assisted in the roll-out strategy for various retail clients including Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Citibank and Commerce Bank (now TD Bank).
Prior to joining Newmark, Dedekian worked for the Trump Organization in its corporate headquarters, working closely with the organization’s top executives and decision makers.
Education
Dedekian is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she was on the Dean’s List and earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
