Kyle Schlitt is a Director with Newmark’s Capital Markets team, based in the firm’s Central Florida office. His primary responsibilities include facilitating the origination of debt and equity placements in the Southeast region. Schlitt participates in all aspects of debt and equity finance transactions, focusing on multifamily, office, retail, industrial, hotel and mixed-use assets. He has extensive experience structuring various types of capital, including permanent debt, bridge loans, construction financing, joint venture and preferred equity.
Schlitt joined the company after serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at CBRE for six years. He has participated in the underwriting, origination and placement of over $1.5 billion in capital with various lending sources including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, life company lenders, CMBS and bridge lenders.
Prior to joining CBRE, Schlitt was a commercial real estate analyst at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital where he was responsible for completing financial analysis for over $1.0 billion worth of commercial real estate. Schlitt began his career in the real estate department at USAA in San Antonio, Texas.

Schlitt graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance.
