Laura Stumm is a Vice Chairman with Newmark and a leader of the firm’s Capital Markets practice in Los Angeles. As a key member of the investment sales team led by Kevin Shannon, Stumm specializes in acquisition and disposition advisory for institutional and private owners of commercial real estate across a variety of asset classes including office, land, lab/life science, and studios.
Over the course of Stumm’s real estate career, she has led over $18 billion in transactions with specialized expertise in fee simple interest, leasehold, joint venture, sale-leaseback, and tenant representation transactions.
Prior to joining Newmark in 2015, Stumm spent five years with CBRE’s top-producing investment sales team as part of the West Coast Institutional Investment Group. Prior to CBRE, Stumm worked at Citi as an Analyst and subsequently as an Associate. She holds Series 7 and 66 licenses and is a member of the CFA Institute.
Stumm offers support to many women forging careers in commercial real estate and hosts networking events throughout Los Angeles to promote mentoring. As the mother of three young boys, Stumm is an active member of her community as a volunteer at American Martyrs Catholic Church and a Cub Scout leader in Manhattan Beach.
