Lorette Maxwell joined Newmark in 2005 as associate counsel and was promoted to senior counsel in 2006. She is responsible for drafting and negotiating brokerage agreements, property management agreements, IT agreements, contractor agreements and leases.
Prior to joining Newmark, Ms. Maxwell was senior associate for Schwartz Simon Edelstein Celso & Kessler LLC, where she specialized in both private and public contracting law, commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and zoning and land use, where she regularly appeared before a variety of administrative agencies. Before her tenure at Schwartz Simon, Ms. Dundas was an associate at Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo P.C., where she practiced general commercial real estate law, with a particular emphasis on commercial leasing.
Ms. Maxwell is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. She is a member of the American Bar, New York Bar and New Jersey Bar Associations.

Ms. Maxwell received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and received her B.A. from the University of Denver.
