Marcella LaHara is a leader within Newmark’s Technology and Innovation Practice Group, with 10 years of experience in global real estate transactions and corporate real estate strategy. She is well versed in all phases of the transaction life cycle representing numerous fortune 500 companies on all aspects of leasing transactions and strategy. LaHara has negotiated over 250 transactions comprised of disposition and acquisition activity resulting in total value add of over $500 million. She has advised on over 10 corporate acquisitions and divestitures and developed an expertise in integrating and bifurcating real estate portfolios at varying scales.
LaHara came to Newmark after serving as a Director and Transaction Manager for CBRE, Inc., where she managed a team of 15 dedicated transaction management professionals covering EMEA, APAC, North America and LATAM partnering with brokers across the globe at various firms. Prior to her time at CBRE, LaHara spent six years at Goldman Sachs in New York City, where she negotiated and executed office and retail leases, letters of intent, estoppels and various other leasing documents across the Americas.
