Matthew Lorberbaum joined the firm in 2012 and currently serves as a Managing Director in the firm’s New York headquarters. He works directly with Vice Chairman Brian Goldman, focusing exclusively on Tenant Representation and Strategic Planning.
Lorberbaum is an experienced advisor to leading financial institutions, alternative investment managers, family offices and private equity firms and their portfolio companies. He advises them on structuring and executing their real estate transactions, including lease renewals, relocations and dispositions/subleases. Lorberbaum’s goal is to make the real estate strategy of each client integral to the success of their overall business strategy.

In 2015, Lorberbaum was recognized as one of Commercial Observer’s 30 Under 30, joining an elite group of up-and-comers in New York’s commercial real estate industry.

Education
Lorberbaum earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, where he majored in finance and minored in real estate.
