Matthew Pullen is a Vice Chairman with Newmark in Boston, one of the nation’s most successful investment property sales teams, specializing in the sale of investment grade office, industrial and mixed-use properties across the country. In all, he and his team have sold upwards of $45 billion of office, industrial/flex, retail and multi-family investment properties in the northeast United States. Pullen started his career at CBRE as the Director of Research for New England, authoring the market’s leading research reports. He went on to work as a Senior Vice President at CBRE’s Institutional Group, selling over $1 billion of investment properties before he joined the market leading investment team at Cushman & Wakefield in 2012. In 2014 alone, the team handled the sale of 72 assets valued at over $4.2 billion.
Pullen’s extensive clientele has included some of the region’s most recognized real estate owners including Blackstone, Boston Properties, Clarion, Divco West, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, Invesco, Prudential and Skanska, among many others.
An active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Pullen is currently Vice Chair of Membership for its Office Development Council and a member of the advisory board for its Boston District Council; he previously co-chaired the Boston Market Council. Pullen is also a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board/Commercial Brokers Association (CBA).
Education
Pullen is a 2000 graduate of the University of Richmond, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He resides in Newbury, Massachusetts, with his wife Kim and their two children, Grant and Olivia.
