Michael Moore is a Senior Managing Director with Newmark and a lead member of the investment sales team led by Kevin Shannon, Co-Head of U.S. Capital Markets. Since joining Shannon’s team in 1997, Moore has been involved in over $18 billion in disposition assignments, including over 400 separate investment transactions. Most of these transactions involved suburban office buildings, medical office and industrial, retail and self-storage assets. These include some of the largest transactions in the history of Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties, and the greater Phoenix area.
Notable transactions include the disposition of the 1.7 million square foot OMP industrial site, on behalf of J.P. Morgan/NYster/OMP/PCCP ($260 million); Plaza El Segundo, on behalf of Mar Venture/Comstock Crosser and Continental Development ($193 million); Fountainhead Office Plaza, on behalf of USAA ($137 million); Max at Kierland, on behalf of Clarion Partners ($79 million); the Del Amo Financial Center, on behalf of Southwest Value Partners ($71 million); and the Apollo corporate headquarters ($183 million).
Prior to joining the Shannon Team, Moore was a successful agent for Colliers Seeley, specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial properties in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, California. Through his efforts, Moore was awarded the Rookie of the Year award in 1994 in recognition of the most gross commissions earned by a first-year broker.
