An award-winning marketing leader with over 13 years of industry experience, Monique Rafferty joined Newmark in 2019 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Eastern region. Based in the firm’s Manhattan headquarters, Rafferty is responsible for leading marketing and business development functions across the entire East coast.
Rafferty is known for her leadership, impressive track record building exceptional teams and innovative marketing solutions. Rafferty’s team partners with brokers and stakeholders on strategic new business pursuits and digital-first, multi-channel marketing for each assignment from concept to completion.
Prior to Newmark, Rafferty served as Director of Marketing for William Pitt - Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the largest Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates. In this position, she was responsible for all strategic brand, property and broker marketing initiatives across 27 brokerages throughout New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Rafferty’s real estate career began in 2011, when she joined William Pitt -Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty in Rye, New York.

Rafferty serves on the Advisory Board at Northwood School, a leading private high school in Lake Placid, New York, dedicated to helping student athletes shape their future.
Education
Rafferty graduated from Manhattanville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Marketing. While attending college, she was a member of Manhattanville’s NCAA women’s ice hockey team for four years. She led the team as a captain to multiple Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East tournaments and national championships. Rafferty was also a member of ECAC Hockey’s women’s All-Academic team throughout her tenure.
