Natalia Lozano Espenet, LEED AP, joined Newmark in 2017 as a senior managing director in the firm’s Mexico City office. A 13- year industry veteran, Ms. Lozano specializes in both tenant transactions and agency transactions. On the tenant representation side, Ms. Lozano completed a 96,840-square-foot Citibank call center transaction and successfully collaborated with her team to negotiate sale-leasebacks and bid sales for both Citibank and Walmart. Ms. Lozano has also worked on a variety of consolidation cases with government offices, nongovernmental organizations as in two UN Consolidations, and private companies.
On the agency side, Ms. Lozano marketed Antara Polanco Phase I and II, a 750,000-square-foot development, to 100% pre-lease status and leased or sold all of Corporativo Cuajimalpa and Arbolada. She also represented Corporativo Rotanda, Montes Urales 440, Uruguay 45, and retail space on Masaryk Street and on Fifth Avenue in Playa del Carmen. Other projects include the 193,680-square-foot, Class A Cervantes 169 in Polanco and a variety of Class B buildings in Polanco, Roma and Bosques de las Lomas.
Prior to Newmark, Ms. Lozano worked for 13 years at Cushman & Wakefield Mexico, where she gained expertise in a wide range of complex transactions.
Education
Ms. Lozano earned her Master of Arts degree in European economy and culture at the Ruhr-University Bochum, located in Bochum, Germany, and her bachelor’s degree in international relations at Universidad de 2 Client Name or Logo Belgrano, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Ms. Lozano speaks fluent Spanish, English, German and Portuguese.
