Nick Fields joined Newmark in 2022 and currently serves as an Associate in the Washington, DC office. In this role working directly with Vice Chairman Aaron Katz and Executive Managing Director Mike Shuler, Fields focuses exclusively on Tenant Representation, working on high profile complex transactions with a focus on the Washington DC area. Fields’s involvement in a variety of transactions has laid the foundation for his experience in developing and implementing customized, flexible workplace solutions tailored to his client’s respective needs. These solutions include implementing strategic plans for advanced lease restructures, occupancy cost reduction, sublease dispositions, and portfolio optimization.
Prior to joining Newmark, Fields worked first as a research analyst, then tenant representative for West, Lane & Schlager Realty Advisors, a boutique tenant representation brokerage in Washington DC. In this role he represented both local and regional office tenants in the greater Washington DC region. Prior to WLS, Fields held internships with the US Senate, Fannie Mae and played lacrosse professionally where he was a member of the Major League Lacrosse championship winning team the Ohio Machine in 2017.

Education
A graduate of The Johns Hopkins University, Fields holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a double minor in Financial Economics and Entrepreneurship & Management where he also served as a captain of Johns Hopkins Division 1 Men’s lacrosse team and twice received All Big Ten Academic Honors.
