Nick Lukacs joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2018 as a First Vice President in the Atlanta office. As an appraiser, Lukacs has approximately 10 years of real estate and consulting experience, with particular expertise in the valuation of all types of commercial land and residential development property, including land for residential A&D, remaining inventory in subdivisions and planned unit developments (PUDs), mixed-use projects, retirement/second-home communities, built-for-rent developments, condominiums and master-planned communities throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Additionally, Lukacs has provided appraisal and consulting services on a variety of commercial and investment properties, including office, retail, industrial, golf courses, poultry operations and marinas.
Prior to Newmark, Lukacs worked for nearly eight and a half years as an appraiser in the Valuation & Advisory group at Cushman & Wakefield. He previously served as a research specialist with Cushman & Wakefield, responsible for compiling and analyzing commercial real estate data for all property types in the Atlanta area. Lukacs previously held a similar position at CoStar’s Atlanta office, where he began in his career in 2009.

Education
Lukacs earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in real estate from the University of Georgia, after attending Appalachian State University. More recently, he has completed the continuing education requirements for Practicing Affiliates of the Appraisal Institute.
