Patty McGuigan’s dynamic real estate career began when she joined Newmark in 1980. After 40 years in the real estate business, she has completed thousands of transactions involving more than 25 million square feet and totaling in excess of $1 billion. Patty has been a consistent top performer at the firm and has been inducted into the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers’ (ASVB’s) prestigious Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining Newmark, Patty was a salesperson with Exxon, where she was nationally the number one performer in the company for three consecutive years. She also taught high school English for 12 years.
In leasing commercial real estate, Patty has represented local developers and national corporate companies as well as established high-tech firms and fledgling startups. Her talents in the industry rest with her knowledge of the market, interaction with a variety of clients, unbounded enthusiasm and energy and the professionalism she brings to every assignment.
Patty has also sold several prestigious developments throughout the valley, such as The Willows (Sunset Building) in Menlo Park and the historic Christian Science Church in downtown Palo Alto. Repositioning assets for today’s market has become one of her fortes.
