Pedro Delgado joined Newmark in 2019 as Hospitality Director. With more than 25 years of experience in economic development, finance and tourism, to his credit, stands out the promotion and attraction of private investment for the installation of tourist projects in beach destinations, business cities, colonial cities and magical towns of Mexico, among which investments of more than US $ 2,500 million can be referred in hotel, tourist real estate and mixed-use projects, with a variety of components such as a golf courses, marinas, wineries, theme parks, convention center, facilities for health tourism [medical and wellness], among others.
As a result of the promotion activities, he managed to install tourist projects such as Las Palmas, Rosarito Beach Hotel & Resort, Las Ventanas, Rancho El Dorado, El Descanso, La Punta at Bajamar, Palacio del Mar, Fiesta Inn hotels, City Express, Santuario Diegueño, among others.
Before joining Newmark, he worked with consulting firms in business structuring for private companies, as well as providing technical assistance in economic development and tourism issues in more than 15 entities of the Mexican Republic [highlighting FONATUR destinations]. He was General Director of Regional Programs at the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico [08/12], Director of Planning and Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Tourism of Baja California [01/08] and Director of NAFIN Center [Development Bank] in Tijuana, Baja California [92/99].

Pedro has participated as a member as well as a state and national advisor in different associations and groups such as COPARMEX Young Entrepreneurs, the National College of Economists, the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives and the BC30 Group.
Education
Pedro received his Master of Business Administration [MBA] degree from the National University in the United States [1994] and a postgraduate degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom [2000]. Pedro has a BA in Economics from the Universidad Autonoma de Baja California [1991] and a BA in Computer Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Tijuana[1989]. It also has specialized studies in Finance [UABC] and postgraduate studies in Development of International Business Plans and Tourism Marketing [SDSU], Formulation and Evaluation of Investment Projects [NAFIN SNC], Tourism and Urban Master Plans [FONATUR], and Strategic Alliances [UEPT].
