Philip Palmer joined Newmark in 2018 and currently serves as a senior managing director in the company’s Chicago office. A 23-year corporate real estate veteran, Mr. Palmer has substantial expertise in commercial real estate, including portfolio management and tenant representation in the office, industrial and data center sectors. His clients appreciate his detail management and service-oriented approach as well as his innovative, bottom-line, entrepreneurial delivery.
In representing his clients, Mr. Palmer has routinely worked with municipal and state incentive programs. He has also worked on development, investment and consulting projects for both publicly traded and private companies, offering his clients a broad experience and perspective on real estate issues.
Mr. Palmer joined Newmark after serving as a principal for six years with Avison Young. In that capacity, he was responsible for a wide variety of businesses on their facility requirements, servicing the full roster of their ongoing real estate needs.

Education
Mr. Palmer graduated from Lake Forest College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in local and regional land use and planning. He also studied architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
