Purvesh Gosalia is Vice Chairman for Newmark in the Houston office. In addition to serving as a trusted advisor to clients, his primary responsibilities include national debt and equity originations through capital sources that include Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FHA, insurance companies, CMBS lenders and banks.
With more than 16 years of experience in the real estate investment banking industry, Gosalia has completed capitalizations on all major property types involving debt and equity for developments, acquisitions, refinances and portfolio recapitalizations.
Prior to joining Newmark, Gosalia was a Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital. In this capacity, he represented private and institutional clients nationwide and was one of the top originators in the company. Previously, he was a Senior Producer for the Freddie Mac multifamily division, covering the Southeastern United States. Gosalia has been involved in the underwriting and placement of more than $3 billion in financing transactions covering all asset classes and components of the capital stack.

Education
Gosalia attended Auburn University and graduated from the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a major in finance.
