Reggie Beavan is a Vice Chairman in Newmark’s Houston office and a leader of the tenant representation team. Providing office and industrial tenant representation services to select clients, Beavan has completed more than 100 million square feet of transactions throughout his 24-year career. He has built a solid reputation for delivering unsurpassed customer service to his clients based on his comprehensive knowledge of the market, personal commitment to his clients, tenacity, loyalty and honesty.
Beavan drives value for his clients through the development of a meaningful real estate strategy, effective management of complex negotiations and quick identification of potential issues, with a strategic emphasis on achieving optimal results. His ability to manage the tenant representation team members, pinpoint key objectives and drive each process in parallel fashion to maximize outcomes and ensure timely delivery is critical to the team’s success. Beavan takes a holistic approach to his practice platform, which includes strategic portfolio assessment, facility and growth forecasting, workplace strategies, facility master planning, occupancy analysis modeling, location strategy, labor and talent studies, relocate/consolidate feasibility, operations assessment, KPI development, economic incentives advisory and enterprise asset strategies (e.g., cost reduction strategies).
Beavan ’s background in finance, understanding of market trends, personal commitment and loyalty to his clients, expert conflict resolution skills and his belief in the critical nature of executing a competitive process in each area of his practice platform enable him to yield best-in-class results for his clients. He recently negotiated an approximately 700,000-square-foot consolidation of six different business units for a large international technology company, which yielded more than $20 million of savings over 10 years.
Beavan joined Newmark in 2018, upon the firm’s acquisition of acclaimed tenant representation firm Jackson Cooksey. He had been Manager of Jackson Cooksey’s Houston office since 2006.
