Richard Furr joined Dallas’s investment brokerage team in 2011. His impressive track record includes leadership roles at The Milestone Group, where he spearheaded the acquisition team, and at JPI, where he served as an acquisition partner and Divisional Senior VP.
During his 35-year career, Furr has been responsible for over $1 billion in multifamily transactions; this includes ground-up new development, value-add acquisitions, and core asset acquisitions. While at Newmark he has facilitated over $19 billion in multifamily transactions.
Furr currently serves as the Executive Managing Director of Multifamily Capital Markets at Newmark. He excels in market forecasting and property valuation, providing strategic advice that maximizes investment returns for his clients. Known for his analytical approach and effective communication, he builds lasting client relationships based on transparency and integrity.
