Rick Davidson joined Newmark in 2001 and currently serves as a senior vice president in the Salt Lake City office, where he specializes in land acquisition and disposition and in investment sales. A 40-year real estate veteran, Mr. Davidson has substantial expertise in almost all commercial real estate transactions, which involves a true understanding of the many issues that face developers, including site analysis, zoning and entitlement issues and eventual product disposition.
Mr. Davidson has worked with a majority of the region’s planning districts, consulted with various city agencies and formed relationships with numerous local and national developers and investors. With the booming economy, most recent activity has centered on the sale of single-family, townhome and apartment land and of hotel and office development sites. The relationships that Mr. Davidson has cultivated with builders and developers have resulted in the sale of numerous apartment, hotel and office investments.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Davidson worked at Wallace & Associates, a Salt Lake City-based real estate consulting firm. Wallace then merged with Grubb & Ellis, where Rick became the vice president of investment services.
