Rob Vodinelic MAI, MRICS, currently serves as Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Regional Managing Director for the Midwest / Northeast Regions. In this role, Vodinelic is responsible for strategic planning; business development; aggressively recruiting top appraisal professionals; continuing to provide outstanding service to clients; and overseeing the Midwest / Northeast U.S. offices of Newmark.
Vodinelic is also the national practice leader for Valuation & Advisory’s Industrial & Logistics Specialty Practice, where he oversees a team of experts who’s innovative, consulting-driven approach provides best-in-class valuation and consulting services for all properties belonging to the industrial/logistics asset class.
Additionally, Vodinelic is involved with the coordination of national multi-market industrial portfolios, preparation and review of appraisal reports on a broad range of property types and also provides expert witness testimony.
Since beginning his career in valuation in 1998, Vodinelic has worked with clients on a wide variety of property types and has provided valuation analyses on federal and state historic tax credits, tax increment financing (TIF) arrangements and a variety of tax abatements. Vodinelic also has significant experience in litigation assignments, including the preparation of appraisals and providing expert witness testimony for property tax appeals and federal bankruptcy proceedings.
Vodinelic joined Newmark from Cushman & Wakefield, where he most recently served as a senior managing director and the regional director for Ohio. In 2002, Vodinelic relocated to Ohio from C&W’s New York world headquarters. He had transitioned to valuation & advisory four years earlier, after three years as a senior accountant in the Corporate Finance group.
Upon starting at Newmark in 2017, Vodinelic was the Market Leader for Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, prior to his appointment as Regional Managing Director for the Midwest/Northeast regions.

Vodinelic earned a Master of Science degree in real estate with a focus on valuation from New York University. He previously earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University.
