Rocky DeLuca is an Associate Vice President of Newmark’s Property Management team in the firm’s Connecticut and Westchester markets. With over nine years of property management and construction experience, Mr. DeLuca works alongside Kimberly Harvey, Vice President of Property Management, to build and expand Newmark’s presence in the Connecticut and Westchester markets. Mr. DeLuca supports Newmark’s property management operations and staff and develops collaborative strategies and operational efficiencies for prospective clients to grow Newmark’s management portfolio.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. DeLuca was a Senior Commercial Property Manager for CBRE in New York, NY where he managed a 2.3 million square foot, Class-A property in downtown Manhattan. He oversaw the creation of a $25M annual operating budget and over $15M in capital projects and was instrumental in renewing the asset’s LEED Gold Certification. As the communications lead, Mr. DeLuca created a COVID-19 Response Plan and a playbook to keep building tenants, staff and ownership safe and apprised of the developing situation during the height of the pandemic, which was implemented globally by his clients. Additionally, to provide deeper insight to his clients’ executive oversight, he led monthly ownership meetings with executives from all ownership parties; the meetings served to provide updates to the asset’s operational and financial health, status of capital projects, potential risks and mitigation strategies, and long-term planning for the property’s future.
In his free time, Mr. DeLuca enjoys reading, watching auto racing, working on home improvement projects, and spending time with his wife and son.
