Russell N. Rench, MAI, currently serves as a Senior Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory. Over the course of his career, Rench has conducted appraisal and consulting assignments in 21 states and has acquired experience in a wide variety of property types, including hotels, apartments, warehouses, office buildings, shopping centers, manufacturing buildings, financial institutions, nursing homes and vacant land. His appraisals have been used for such purposes as sale or purchase, allocation of purchase price, condemnation, foreclosure, sale-leaseback, rental value, tax consulting and dispute/litigation. Other assignments have included appraisals of partial real estate interests, site selection studies, and project feasibility studies.
Prior to joining Newmark, Rench was appraisal director at Balke Brown Transwestern in St. Louis. He previously worked for more for than 10 years with Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as senior director in the St. Louis Valuation & Advisory office. Rench also spent 13 years as an owner of real estate appraisal and consulting businesses and worked as a review appraiser for a St. Louis financial institution.
