Scott R. Kling joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2019 as a Vice President in the Chicago/Suburban office.
Kling has actively been engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1993 and has successfully completed valuations on various proposed, partially completed, renovated and existing structures.
Kling has extensive experience preparing valuations for special-use properties, including agricultural operations, agronomy centers, quarries, and farmland. His valuations have been used for condemnation purposes, estates, financing and due diligence support.
He also has extensive experience in conservation easement valuation and has worked with numerous regional open space and conservation agencies in preparing valuations for grant applications at the local, state and federal level.

Education
Kling earned a Masters of Arts degree from Aurora University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Western Illinois University. More recently, he successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and others.
