Scott Lipinski, MAI joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2019 and currently serves as a Executive Vice President focused on the state of Michigan. Lipinski brings to his position over 15 years of professional experience valuing a wide range of commercial property types and special land uses.
In addition to industrial, office and retail properties (ranging from small single-tenant to regional shopping centers), Lipinski has extensive expertise valuing mobile home parks; mixed-use developments; multifamily and student housing; conservation easements; and eminent domain as well as a variety of other special-purpose properties. His appraisal and consulting experiences include report preparation for financing, estate planning, collateral monitoring, acquisition and disposition, and tax assessment appeals.
Prior to Newmark, Lipinski acquired diverse professional experience including bank appraisal review, real estate evaluations, private equity backed real estate development & acquisition, social capital, and risk management consulting.

Education
Lipinski earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina with a focus in Real Estate. In addition, he has successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses sponsored by the Appraisal Institute.
