Sean O’Connor serves as a Senior Appraiser in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Morristown, New Jersey, office, which covers northern and central New Jersey.
O’Connor specializes in a wide variety of property types including vacant land for conservation/preservation, various easements for utility and recreational use, and a variety of office, retail, multifamily, and industrial properties. O’Connor’s work ranges from litigation support, expert witness testimony, appraisal review, real estate consulting to reports for financial institutions and private investment funds.
Prior to joining Newmark, O’Connor worked in the education field as a curriculum director and a teacher. Previously, he worked as a field inspector for a local tax revaluation firm.

Education
O’Connor earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching from Montclair State University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Rowan University in 2009.
He also completed applicable coursework on a number of topics including economics, statistics and accounting.
