Stephen D. DuPlantis, MAI, serves as an Executive Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Houston office. He specializes in appraisals for tax appeals, condemnations, litigation and open space/land preservation.
Prior to Newmark, Stephen worked for 21 years as senior managing director of CBRE’s South Central Region, which comprised Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
DuPlantis’ commercial appraisal assignments have included multifamily, office, industrial and retail properties. He has also appraised numerous other special-purpose properties including senior care facilities, golf courses, self storage facilities and hotels/motels.
DuPlantis holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and is currently an approved instructor for the organization. He has also served on numerous committees with the Appraisal Institute and other organizations during his career as a real estate appraiser.
