Steven Pejza, MAI, currently serves as a First Vice President in Newmark Valuation & Advisory’s Atlanta, Georgia office. Pejza has over 25 years of real estate appraisal and consulting experience across the globe.
Pejza has extensive experience appraising a variety of commercial property types including conventional, student & affordable apartments, mixed-use, office, industrial, retail, land, and special-purpose properties. In addition, he is versed in specialty valuations for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae SBL products, financial reporting, and purchase price allocations. He has successfully worked with some of the industry’s most prestigious clients, including financial institutions, developers, individual & corporate property owners, and attorneys. Pejza has successfully completed valuation assignments of some of the largest and highest profile multifamily projects in the southeastern United States.
Pejza came to Newmark after working in real estate valuation for nearly three decades at JLL, CBRE, Duff & Phelps/Standard & Poor’s, Cushman & Wakefield, and PwC.

Education
Pejza earned his Master of City Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Indiana University.
