Ted Calaman joined Newmark as an intern in 2013 at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters and has risen to Managing Director in 2022. With over a decade of experience in finance and real estate, Calaman provides thoughtful and disciplined fact-based and data-driven quantitative decision making that pairs rigorous reward analysis and risk management with deep domain expertise. He has been involved in sourcing, executing, and consulting on tens of millions of square feet valued at tens of billions of dollars to a diverse client base across domestic and international capital markets transactions and advisory services. Sectors of expertise include office, multifamily, retail, life sciences, industrial, hospitality, data center, infrastructure, and development.
Additionally, Calaman helped to successfully develop and launch Real Estate Index Linked Structure (REILS), a proprietary tax-efficient investment vehicle for cross-border transactions.
