With more than 20 years of experience, Managing Director Terry Shum has extensive expertise in office leasing and sales on behalf of multinational and local occupiers and landlords across the Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific markets. Shum collaborates with clients to develop creative real estate strategies regarding new leases, rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructures and purchase and sale transactions.

Shum came to Newmark in 2022 after serving as Director of Office Services at Colliers International in Hong Kong, where he specialized in leasing and sales transactions. Previously, Shum has held positions in Hong Kong including: Director at Savills as an office leasing specialist; Senior Director, Head of Kowloon Commercial Agency at Newmark Greater China, Executive Director and Head of Kowloon Office Services in CBRE and National Director, Head of Kowloon Markets in Jones Lang LaSalle.
