Thomas Lee is as an Executive Managing Director with Newmark. An office specialist with a diverse, 38-year career in commercial real estate, Tom has significant expertise in all aspects of landlord and tenant representation, investment sales, build-to-suit and ground-up development and land sales. His understanding of complex real estate and development transactions, extensive market knowledge and insightful perception of economic indicators allows him to provide invaluable perspective to his clients. Throughout his career, Tom has completed lease transactions representing over 15.0 million square feet in the Denver region, including ground-up development project experience totaling 25 different buildings and over 6 million square feet.
Tom’s focus on headquarter relocations, ground-up development and build-to-suit projects continues to re-shape the Denver skyline. He has successfully concluded leasing and marketing campaigns for some of the most high-profile developments in the Denver metropolitan area, including Panorama Corporate Center, Westmoor Technology Park, MediaNews Group Corporate Headquarters and Gates Corporation World Headquarters. He played an integral role in prospecting tenants for 1800 Larimer Street that allowed it to be built, financed and leased. Dairy Block at 1800 Wazee, a 285,000 SF office project in LoDo, was 50% pre-leased prior to construction beginning. Recently, 255 Fillmore, a 101,00 SF office building in Cherry Creek, broke ground with 93% of the project pre-leased.
Focused on cost-effectiveness, timeliness and bottom-line results, Tom has earned a reputation for building strong networks and long-standing client relationships. These connections, together with his intimate market knowledge and understanding of complex financial conditions, enable him to construct result-driven client strategies for clients.
