Tim O’Donnell joined Newmark in 2016. his current title is Executive Managing Director, Debt & Structured Finance and he works out of the firm’s Boston office.
O’Donnell focuses on arranging acquisition, construction, and structured financing on a wide spectrum of property types including office, retail, industrial, apartments, hotels, self-storage and student housing. In his 15+ year financing career, O’Donnell has been part of closing over $5 billion of transactions with banks, conduits, life companies and debt funds located across the country. In addition to senior debt placement, O’Donnell advises clients on joint ventures, equity placements, mezzanine loans and various other debt and equity related transactions. Prior to joining Newmark, O’Donnell served as Vice President of Goedecke & Co.’s Boston office from 2014 - 2016. O’Donnell, began his commercial real estate career purchasing performing and non-performing notes at Admirals Bank. He was part of the team that acquired the bank and managed the bank’s REO. O’Donnell graduated from Bentley University in 2004 and later earned his MBA from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management in 2009.
