Tom Berry serves as Managing Director of Newmark’s Golf Capital Markets Specialty Practice, specializing in acquiring and disposing of golf and country clubs, resorts and master-planned communities. Berry, based in San Diego, has been involved in more than $600 million in transactions, including several nationally-recognized golf clubs.
Berry came to Newmark after serving as a Senior Associate at CBRE, where he was an integral member of the Golf & Resort Group. Prior to entering commercial real estate, Berry was an international professional-level golfer, having played two seasons on an affiliate of the PGA Tour.

Education
Berry graduated from San Diego State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and served as the captain of the golf team. Additionally, Berry attended the CCIM institute, earning a designation in Financial Analysis.
