As a geographic information specialist (GIS) analyst, Trey Murphy administers GIS and mapping requirements for the Retail Occupier Services group at Newmark. Working closely with database administrators, he ensures client data is accurately and attractively presented in a geospatial environment.
Prior to joining Newmark, Trey served as the lead writer in the movie posters department at Heritage Auctions in Dallas. His attention to detail, linguistic skills, and extensive knowledge of film ensured descriptions for all lots were presented in an accurate and intriguing manner.
Trey also worked as a buyer of licensed product for the once-global leader in home entertainment, Blockbuster Video. This entailed the negotiation of costs for products to be sold in stores, as well as the allocation of said product across the company based on demographics and sales information of similar items.
Trey holds a bachelor’s degree in English. Additionally, he is an accomplished photographer with award-winning works that have been displayed in galleries and online. His keen eye has also earned him several motion picture credits as on-set production photographer.
