Will Adams joined Newmark in 2016 as an executive managing director in the Downtown Los Angeles office. In this role, Mr. Adams provides tenant advisory services to the legal, healthcare, financial and entertainment sectors. He also leverages his landlord services experience to expand Newmark’s presence in the greater Los Angeles Basin.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Adams held the position of senior vice president with CBRE for nine years. He previously worked for 17 years at Savills Studley.
Mr. Adams has represented some of the most prominent companies in the financial, entertainment and legal sectors. Some of his notable transactions include: JPMorgan’s 98,000-square-foot consolidation and relocation in Century City; Starz Entertainment, for both 112,000 and 45,000 square feet; and Arnold & Porter, for 78,000 square feet in Downtown Los Angeles.
In the last few years, Mr. Adams has also been involved in securing and servicing portfolio business with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, JPMorgan Chase and East West Bank, while spearheading high-profile assignments for Alibaba, California State University Los Angeles, and Tribune.
Mr. Adams’ notable landlord experience includes: Alameda Square (1.4 million square feet), LA Times Square (800,000 square feet) and 400 South Hope (700,000 square feet). He also transacts development site sales, building sales and strategic land assemblages.
Education
Mr. Adams has been a guest lecturer for the Master of Real Estate Development program at the University of Southern California. An active member of his community, he is also a past president of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House.
