William Anderson serves as an Executive Managing Director in Newmark’s Boston office, where he co-manages the Downtown Boston leasing team. Anderson focuses on representing tenants and landlords in sale and leasing transactions.
Anderson joined Newmark in 2015 after eight years as an Executive Vice President in the Boston office of Cushman & Wakefield. Previously, he served as a Managing Director for Beacon Properties and then Equity Office. During his 10-year tenure there, he was a member of the senior team responsible for financial and operational performance for Equity’s 13 million-square-foot portfolio and was responsible for preparing and executing Equity’s leasing plan for its 9 million-square-foot downtown portfolio. From 1997 to 2007, Anderson represented 30% of the Class A properties in Boston. Prior to his role at Equity Office/Beacon Properties, Anderson was Vice President of Lynch Murphy Walsh & Partners.
