William Mellin is the senior managing director of Newmark’s Facilities Management services, provided through the firm’s Global Corporate Services division. Mr. Mellin oversees the financial and operational performance of the Facilities Management business unit, which provides facility management and technical services to domestic and global clients. These clients include industry leaders in consumer, banking, insurance, publishing and technology.
Mr. Mellin has vast operational experience in corporate and commercial facility management, with particular expertise in establishing and implementing customer-centric delivery organizations. With over 25 years of experience, he has commissioned and operated all types of facilities, including administrative office and campus complexes, data centers, warehouses and other multi-purpose facilities. He has also performed benchmarking analyses and operations reviews on over 100 million square feet of space. Mr. Mellin brings a “customer first” approach to facility management that incorporates processes and procedures that include financial, sustainability and operational management with a customer service focus.
Education
Mr. Mellin holds a Real Property Administrator (RPA) certification from Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) International, a LEED Green Associate accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.
